Actually, what happens is that the first shot that starts at the girl playing in snow and goes thru the window and gets inside is inspired by "Citizen Kane", as is a lot of the narrative of the video as well as the visual concept.
But teh actual story of "Citizen Kane" has nothing to do with this video. This is really about her relantionship with her father.
